Swati Balakrishnan

Swati Balakrishnan completed her PhD from the Indian Institute of Science and went on to do postdoctoral research at Vanderbilt University, where she was figuring out how some breast cancer proteins worked. She now works at the University of Toronto with Dr. Rachel Harding, focusing on studying the 3D shape of huntingtin and other proteins involved in Huntington’s disease.
