Dr Michael Orth, MD, PhD

Michael is a consultant neurologist in the department of neurology at the University of Ulm in Germany, and scientific projects manager for the European Huntington’s disease network. Michael trained as a neurologist and neuropsychiatrist in Hamburg, Germany, and London, UK, and obtained his PhD from University College London. His main clinical interest is movement disorders with a particular focus on HD. Scientifically, he works on metabolic aspects of HD including mitochondrial function and the electrophysiology of HD.
